On January 17, the Baku Book Center held a commemorative event marking the 35th anniversary of the Black January tragedy. The event began with a moment of silence in honor of those who lost their lives defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, as well as the victims of the recent plane crash near Aktau.

“Regional Development” Public Association and the Baku Book Center on December 23 hosted the event to introduce a new book titled History of the Patriotic War: Restoration of Azerbaijan’s Territorial Integrity – The Personality Factor. The publication serves as a continuation of the previous book on the 44-day Patriotic War and delves into the significant events that transpired in Azerbaijan during the post-war period.

On February 20, Nigar Arpadarai, a member of the Milli Majlis, led a seminar titled “What Challenges and Opportunities Await Our Youth in the Future?” at the Baku Book Center. This event was part of the “Winter Seminars” series under the educational project “YüksƏL”, and it brought together over 70 volunteers from the Union of Voluntary Organizations of Azerbaijan.
