The transliterated journal Dirilik (“Aliveness”) was officially launched on July 10 at the Baku Book Center. Supported by British Petroleum (BP), the journal was released in honor of the 150th anniversary of the Azerbaijani national press. The project aims to preserve the historical and contemporary traditions of national journalism and highlight its role in the spiritual development of society. The event also included the presentation of Musallim Hasanov's book, The Long Journey of Our Oil to Europe, which is based on unique archival documents and periodical press materials gathered from Baku, Moscow, and St. Petersburg.
