A memorial evening dedicated to Tofig Mirzoyev, an Azerbaijani actor, film director, and screenwriter, was held on September 16 at the Baku Book Center. Friends, colleagues, and prominent cultural figures gathered to share memories of the artist’s creative career and personal qualities, highlighting his significant contribution to the development of Azerbaijani culture and cinema. The event was attended by Gunel Rzayeva, Director of the Baku Book Center; national writers Anar and Chingiz Abdullayev; renowned musicians Polad Bulbuloglu, Murad Huseynov, Farhad Badalbeyli, painter  Farhad Khalilov. Opening the evening, Gunel Rzayeva spoke about Tofig Mirzoyev’s special place in Azerbaijani culture and emphasized the lasting significance of his artistic legacy for future generations. As part of the event, a video showcasing Tofig Mirzoyev’s life and creative career was screened. The evening also included a tribute to the memory of Tofig Mirzoyev’s wife, Professor Elmira Safarova. The artistic program featured performances by young musicians, the Gaya ensemble, and jazz pianist Salman Gambarov.
