On March 12, students from the Azerbaijan State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports had the chance to meet Gunel Anargizi, writer, publicist, and director of the Baku Book Center. The event was part of the Academy’s “Student’s Friend” educational initiative. During the visit, students took a guided tour of the Baku Book Center, exploring its extensive book collection and modern facilities designed to create an engaging reading experience. Speaking to the students, Gunel Anargizi emphasized the importance of reading in shaping one’s perspective and worldview. She encouraged young people to develop a reading habit, focus on self-improvement, and embrace lifelong learning. She also highlighted the role of perseverance in achieving personal and professional goals. The session continued with an interactive discussion, during which students asked questions and gained insight into Anargizi’s creative journey. The event concluded with Gunel Anargizi presenting her autographed books to the students as a source of inspiration.
