On March 16, the Baku Book Center held a festive charity event titled “Nowruz Khonchasi” in celebration of the Nowruz holiday. The event was organized with the participation of the Child and Youth Development Center No. 3. Students from Sanatorium-Type Boarding School No. 10 in the Sabunchu district attended as special guests. The program featured an art exhibition highlighting the rich customs and traditions associated with Nowruz. Visitors were also given a tour of the Baku Book Center. With the support of volunteers from the Regional Development Public Association, children took part in a “Reading Hour” as well as an interactive masterclass aimed at encouraging creativity and engagement. The festive atmosphere was enhanced by performances from young actors of the Child and Youth Development Center No. 3, who presented national dances reflecting the spirit of Nowruz, along with lively musical performances. At the conclusion of the event, the children received sweets from the Baku Book Center, while TEAS Press presented them with books.
