The presentation of “Sənin gözlədiyin qərib türk mənəm”, a new poetry collection by Azerbaijani poet Rustam Behrudi, took place on January 23 at the Baku Book Center. The event attracted significant public interest, bringing together prominent literary and cultural figures, as well as readers and admirers of the poet’s work. Among the speakers were People’s Writer Anar, People’s Poet Sabir Rustamkhanli, Rector of the Azerbaijan University of Languages Kamal Abdulla, scholar Rafig Aliyev, Chairman of the Union of Journalists of Azerbaijan Elchin Shikhli, and other distinguished guests. They shared their reflections on the book and emphasized the unique characteristics of Rustam Behrudi’s poetic voice and artistic vision. The evening was further enriched by an artistic program that created a special atmosphere. Performances by People’s Artist Alim Gasimov and renowned artist Araz Elses, originally from Southern Azerbaijan, were warmly received by the audience. The event concluded with a book-signing session, during which Rustam Behrudi signed copies of his new collection for attendees.
