Baku Book Center Hosts Concert Dedicated to World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and New Year

The Baku Book Center on December 26 hosted a literary and musical evening dedicated to World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and New Year. Opening the event, Gunel Anargizi, Director of the Baku Book Center, warmly congratulated the guests on the upcoming holidays and wished them good health and continued success in the coming year. In her speech, Gunel Anargizi emphasized that the opportunity to celebrate these significant dates in an atmosphere of peace and tranquility is the result of the visionary policy of President Ilham Aliyev, as well as the heroism of the martyrs and the dedication of the veterans. The evening continued with a rich concert program. The Azerbaijan State Choir, led by Gulbaji Imanova, and the Gara Garayev Azerbaijan State Chamber Orchestra performed works by Azerbaijani and European composers, as well as folk songs. A graceful waltz performed by the dance ensemble of Child and Youth Development Center No. 3 and a joint performance of "New Year's Song" by the Azerbaijan State Choir and the choir of the Art Gymnasium at the National Conservatory added a special atmosphere to the event. The evening also featured poetry readings by prominent Azerbaijani poets - Rasul Rza, Nigar Rafibeyli, Mirvarid Dilbazi, Musa Yagub, and Zahid Khalil. The performances were met with great interest by the audience.
