The Baku Book Center on December 17 held a charity event in celebration of December 31 - World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day - and the New Year. The event was organized in cooperation with the Regional Development Public Association and Children and Youth Development Center No. 2. Pupils from Sanatorium-Type Boarding School No. 10 were invited to take part in the festivities. The program began with a brief introductory tour of the Baku Book Center, conducted by its staff. This was followed by educational and interactive master classes, along with a New Year-themed “Reading Hour,” organized by the Regional Development Public Association and Children and Youth Development Center No. 2. As part of the charity program, the Theater Arts group of Children and Youth Development Center No. 2 presented a stage performance titled “The Princess and the Saviors in Adventureland.” The celebration continued with vibrant dance performances by the “Tabassum” (Smile) dance group, whose festive music and choreography created a joyful New Year atmosphere. The event aimed to promote solidarity and unity, demonstrate care and support for children by creating a festive and inspiring environment, encourage the development of their creative abilities and skills, and convey a message of love and hope to society. At the conclusion of the event, the young participants received gifts from the Baku Book Center and SOCAR.
