Baku Book Center hosts launch of "Tanrıya Məktublar" (Letters to God)

On November 28, the Baku Book Center hosted the launch of "Letters to God" ("Tanrıya Məktublar") book by Bahruz Niftaliyev, Presidential Prize laureate, PhD in Art Criticism, Deputy Director of Kultura TV Channel, poet, and publicist. The event was attended by members of the Milli Majlis, academic and cultural figures, and representatives of the media.
Welcoming the audience, Gunel Anargizi, Director of the Baku Book Center, remarked, “The author’s poems, imbued with subtle poetic nuances, convey a spiritual journey - from faith in God to the experience of His presence. Through his writing, the author allows readers to witness the inner dialogue and unspoken thoughts that dwell deep within the human soul.”
Milli Majlis member Elchin Mirzabeyli said that every line of the book resonates deeply with him personally. Member of Parliament Zhala Aliyeva added that such gatherings offer a valuable opportunity to appreciate the significance of words, poetry, and literature.
Academician Nizami Jafarov praised the book, highlighting Bahruz Niftaliyev’s vibrant personality and rare creative gift. Rashad Majid, Chairman of the Press Council of Azerbaijan, emphasized that engaging with poetry carries great responsibility and wished the author continued success in his literary endeavors.
Dilara Salim, Director of Medeniyyet TV Channel, remarked that Niftaliyev’s respect for words, love of culture, and dedication to shared values shine throughout his work. Renowned scholar, poet, and professor Mahira Nagigizi shared memories of her creative interactions with the author and commended his contributions to literature. The event concluded with an artistic program, followed by a book signing session where guests had the opportunity to meet the author personally.
