The Baku Book Center on February 3 hosted the art exhibition “AXIN” of young artists dedicated to Youth Day. The exhibition was organized by the Ministry of Culture and the Azerbaijan State Art Gallery. The exhibition featured about 60 works by more than 40 young artists.
Director of the Azerbaijan State Art Gallery, Galib Gasimov, people's artist Arif Huseynov, director of the Baku Book Center Gunel Rzayeva speaking at the event said that the purpose of the exhibition is to reveal the talents and abilities of young artists, to support their involvement in cultural projects. At the end of the event artists were awarded with diplomas.

On September 20, the Baku Book Center hosted the launch ceremony for "A Grammar of Contemporary Azerbaijani," authored by Zhale Garibova, Vice-Rector for International Relations at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), and Sabina Aliyeva, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Azerbaijani Linguistics at AUL.
