Expert on international business ethics and contracting, international training manager, Head of the Ethics Academy Gunel Ibrahim on January 30 held a seminar on topic “The first 5 minutes of a business meeting”.
 
The seminar was organized as part of YÜKSƏL educational project, implemented on the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Baku Book Center with the financial support from BP Azerbaijan.
 
The seminar was attended by students of the Azerbaijan State Economic University, Azerbaijan University of Languages, Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry, as well as members of the student volunteer program “Bir”, created on the initiative of the Ministry of Education.
 
During the seminar, participants received valuable information about the various mechanisms necessary to achieve the most positive results  of a business meeting. The host of the seminar talked about factors influencing the outcome of the meeting, such as choosing the color of clothes, the use of gestures, clarity and conciseness of speech, as well as the correct distribution of time.
 
At the seminar, Gunel Ibrahim also emphasized such qualities as patience, tact, diplomacy, insight, calmness and self-confidence which are  important during a business conversation. At the end of the seminar, the participants were presented with books recommended by the speaker.
