On September 30, the Baku Book Center hosted the presentation of the book "Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and the Development of Legal Science," authored by PhD Zaur Aliyev, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Associate Professor at Baku State University (BSU). This book commemorates the 100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev, the founder of the modern Azerbaijani state. During the event, Zaur Aliyev discussed the book's content, highlighting how Heydar Aliyev's directives for training national legal personnel and the reforms he initiated significantly advanced legal science and education in Azerbaijan. The event was moderated by Dr. Turgay Huseynov, head of the UNESCO Department of Human Rights and Information Law at Baku State University. Attendees included representatives from government agencies, lawyers, scholars, and students from the Faculty of Law at BSU. The book explores the legal and theoretical dimensions of Heydar Aliyev's remarkable contributions to Azerbaijani legal science and education, and features his statements on legal education and broader educational themes.
