The Baku Book Center on February 18 hosted a literary and musical evening dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the “Gobustan” magazine.
The host of the evening Nargiz Jalilova, director of the Baku Book Director Gunel Rzayeva, editor-in-chief of Gobustan magazine Vagif Alikhanli, national writers of Azerbaijan Anar and Elchin, academicians Isa Habibbeyli, Zemfira Safarova, chairman of the Press Council of Azerbaijan Aflatun Amashov, Azerbaijani singer, composer and diplomat Polad Bulbuloglu, academician Rafael Huseyn addressing the event spoke about the history of the creation of the magazine, about the special place that Gobustan occupies in the Azerbaijani media space and its large contribution to the development of literary and cultural environment of Azerbaijan.
The event continued with a concert with the participation of musicians Mamed Safa, Ulviyya Hajibeyova, Ilgar Muradov, Ilham Nazarov and Sahib Pashazade.

A documentary "Azerbaijani Erivan" was shown at the Baku Book Center on April 19. The event was organized with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The film was created as part of the Fortis Films project by Fortis Construction company.
