A new book titled “Xüsusi təyinatlı” ('Special forсe') by Azerbaıjanı writer Adil Guliyev was launched at the Baku Book Center on June 20. Writer Ilham Aziz, editor of the book, writer Sharif Agayar, secretary of the Writers' Union of Azerbaijan Elchin Huseynbeyli, translator Tahir Dovletoglu, writers Safar Alisharli, Shalala Huseynova, Nadir Yalchin, literary critic Javanshir Yusifli and other guests shared their impressions of the novel. The author of the book, Azerbaijani writer Adil Guliyev, who lives in St. Petersburg, spoke about his work on the novel and signed books for the guests. “Xüsusi təyinatlı” is Adil Guliyev’s third book published in Baku. The novel widely covers the events that took place during the period from the occupation of Azerbaijani territories in the 90-s of the XX century by Armenian armed forces to the anti-terrorist operation in Karabakh region, which was conducted by Azerbaijan on September 19, 2023.
