Baku Book Center on November 11 hosted a meeting with the First Deputy General Director of the TASS news agency (Russia) Mikhail Gusman. The meeting was organized jointly with “Russkiy dom” (Baku based Russian Information and Cultural Center) as part of the 9th Baku International Book Fair.
The director of the Baku Book Center Gunel Rzayeva in her welcome address said that the last time meeting with Mikhail Gusman was held at the Baku Book Center three years ago, even before the pandemic, and now we are happy to have an opportunity to meet the famous Bakuvian again.
During the meeting moderated by TV journalist Jeyhun Ali, Mikhail Gusman spoke about his childhood spent in Baku, his professional activities, and shared stories from his journalistic and literary experience. Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Azerbaijan Mikhail Evdokimov, Head of the “Russkiy dom” Irek Zinnurov attended the event.

A documentary "Azerbaijani Erivan" was shown at the Baku Book Center on April 19. The event was organized with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The film was created as part of the Fortis Films project by Fortis Construction company.
