A book titled “The History of the Patriotic War - the Personality Factor” was launched on September 29 at the Baku Book Center. The book was released in six languages by the Baku City Executive Power. MPs, veterans of the Second Karabakh War, famous personalities,  representatives of religious denominations of Azerbaijan, students and cadets of military lyceums attended the event. At the beginning of the event, participants observed a minute of silence to commemorate martyrs who fought heroically in the Patriotic (Karabakh) War and sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
The head of the Baku Book Center, Gunel Rzayeva, spoke about the importance of the book dedicated to the glorious Victory of Azerbaijan. 
Speaking at the presentation, Baku mayor Eldar Azizov said that this book is one of the first publications dedicated to the history of the Patriotic War. The main goal of the book is the consideration of the history of the Patriotic War from the point of view of the personal factor of the President of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev. National writer Anar, Chairman of the State Committee on Family, Women and Children Bahar Muradova, President of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, Academician Isa Habibbeyli, Director of the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences Karim Shukurov spoke at the event. The speakers said that the main goal of the book based on historical facts is to convey the truth about the Patriotic War and the phenomenon of a strong-willed and decisive Leader of the country to future generations.
At the end of the event, popular singer Tunzalya Agayeva performed the song “My Shusha”. More than 100 copies of this book in Russian and English languages have already been sent to the leading libraries all over the world. The book will soon be translated into Chinese.
