Baku Book Center on May 30 hosted the presentation of Emil Majidov's book ‘A tamga of Tamerlane’. The book was published by the Moscow-based publishing house "Yauza" on the eve of the celebration of the 105th anniversary of Azerbaijan's independence.
The novel takes us to the beginning of the twentieth century and describes the events of the Ganja rebellion of 1920, when the officers of the Azerbaijani army opposed the repressions and robberies of the Bolshevik authorities. The book, written in an easy language in the genre of an adventure novel, tells about the struggle of the Azerbaijani people  for independence and inseparable connection of Azerbaijani people with their native land.
Director of the Baku Book Center Gunel Anargizi, MP Hijran Huseynova, People's Writer Chingiz Abdullayev shared their impressions of the book. The presentation continued in the form of a discussion with the participation of Emil Majidov and TV presenter Leyla Seyidzade.
