Meeting with famous Croatian poet, diplomat and doctor Drago Shtambuk took place at the Baku Book Center on January 24. Opening the event, Croatian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Branko Zebich introduced Drago Shtambuk and spoke about his poetry collection "Zephyr", which was translated into Azerbaijani. Head of the Milli Majlis Committee on Culture Ganira Pashayeva, journalist, writer and translator Ilgar Alfioglu spoke about the Azerbaijan – Croatia cultural ties. Then Drago Shtambuk read his poems included into the book in Croatian and English languages. Poets Nigar Hasanzade and Ilgar Fahmi read the same poems in Azerbaijani.

A documentary "Azerbaijani Erivan" was shown at the Baku Book Center on April 19. The event was organized with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The film was created as part of the Fortis Films project by Fortis Construction company.
