The Explanatory Dictionary of Medical Terms by Kanan Yusif-zade, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor at Referans Medical Group was launched at Baku Book Center on November 29.
The editor of the book, Academician Akhliman Amiraslanov, Deputy Minister of Health Nadir Zeynalov, Deputy Chairman of the Terminological Commission under the Cabinet of Ministers, Professor Sayali Sadygova, Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Engineering Academy, Academician Ahad Janakhmedov, General Director of Referans Medical Group Khansiyar Babayev shared their opinions about the book. The author expressed his gratitude to the guests for the high appreciation of his work. The dictionary includes about 30.000 words and phrases generally used in medicine, new medical and laboratory terms.
