Well-known Russian painter and photographer of Azerbaijani origin Aslan Ahmadov on April 27 unveiled his art project “Past Future” at the Baku Book Center. The event was held as part of the Baku Book Center’s “Uzaq yaxın bizimkilər” project.
Head of the Baku Book Center Gunel Anargizi addressing the event said that the new project “Uzaq yaxın bizimkilər” is designed to acquaint local Azerbaijanis with the activities of our compatriots living abroad.
During the presentation, Aslan Ahmadov presented short videos reflecting the process of painting. Each video was accompanied by a short narration. Speaking about the project, Aslan Ahmadov said that each of the ten paintings is connected with his childhood, significant moments and people who played certain role in his life.

A documentary "Azerbaijani Erivan" was shown at the Baku Book Center on April 19. The event was organized with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The film was created as part of the Fortis Films project by Fortis Construction company.
