Head of SAT Group, sales manager Azad Gahramanov on June 24 conducted an online training workshop on theme “Golden Rules of Sales” as part of the third stage of the BP-sponsored YÜKSƏL project for students and youth, implemented by the Baku Book Center.
More than 35 students representing the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, “Khazar” University, Baku State University, Baku branch of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Azerbaijan University of Languages, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, Baku Slavic University, as well as the “Bir” student volunteer program joined the workshop using ZOOM meetings platform.
Azad Gahramanov touched on various sales methods and techniques and also revealed 7 basic rules for successful trading, defining them as follows:
1. Make a potential customer feel valuable and important
2. Get to know the customer as good as you know the product you are selling
3. Make the customer like you, not just the product
4. 5 steps to a successful sale (establishing contact with a customer, identifying needs, presenting goods, working with objections, making a trade deal)
5. Ask more questions, analyse less
6. People want profit, not goods
7. People believe facts rather than words
During the workshop Azad Gahramanov also answered the questions from the audience. Those students who joined the workshop can receive books recommended by Azad Gahramanov from the Baku Book Center after the end of the quarantine regime.
