‘Oxu saatı’ project for schoolchildren was launched at the Baku Book Center on April 23, the World Book and Copyright Day. As part of the project, supported by ‘Nar’ and the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan, the Baku Book Center hosted four online meetings with national writer Chingiz Abdullaev, honored artist Nargiz Jalilova, TV presenter Jeyhun Ali, and national singer Zulfiya Khanbabayeva (April 23, May 1, 8 and 15).
During the online meetings held through the Zoom platform, the guests spoke about the importance of reading, read them Azerbaijani and world fairy tales, answered various questions.
Children of different age categories joined the meetings.
The main goal of the “Oxu saatı” project is to develop children's reading skills during a pandemic.
