President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has declared Shusha the capital of Azerbaijani culture.  President Ilham Aliyev has also signed an Order to declare 2021 as a “Year of Nizami Ganjavi” in Azerbaijan in connection with the 880th anniversary of the great poet and thinker.

To contribute to the upcoming events, the Baku Book Center has launched a new project for children called “CƏNNƏTİM QARABAĞ” (My paradise Karabakh).

The project is open for children and teens aged 6 -14.

• The participants are asked to read a poem or excerpt from a story in Azerbaijani and submit a video recording of the performance to [email protected] no later than February 1.

• Please don’t forget to specify the name, surname of the participant, and a contact phone number.

• The maximum length of a video is 2 minutes.
