On September 23, children with vision impairments visited the Baku Book Center, where an engaging and informative tour was organized especially for them. During the visit, the children explored various sections of the Baku Book Center, including the children’s corner and a specially equipped area for visually impaired readers. In this zone, the young guests read poems using a special screen magnification system that enlarges text and graphics on a computer, as well as books printed in Braille. They also familiarized themselves with the children’s books available at the Center and listened to audiobooks. On behalf of the Baku Book Center and the F. Kocharli Children’s Library, the young visitors were presented with gifts. The visit concluded with their participation in an event held within the framework of the “Reading with a Celebrity” project, featuring the renowned Azerbaijani singer Miri Yusif.
