Children with vision impairments on Sept. 23 visited the Baku Book Center. The organizers have prepared an interesting tour for them. Children got acquainted with different areas of the Baku Book Center, including a kids' corner and a zone for visually impaired people. Here the young visitors read poems by means of the special screen magnification system enlarging text and graphics on computer and also used the books printed by Braille method.
During the visit they also got acquainted with the children's books presented here and listened to audiobooks.
On behalf of the Baku Book Center and F. Kocharli Children’s Library young guests were presented with gifts. They also took part in the event with the participation of the famous Azerbaijani artist Miri Yusif, which was conducted in the framework of the "Reading with celebrity" project.

On September 20, the Baku Book Center hosted the launch ceremony for "A Grammar of Contemporary Azerbaijani," authored by Zhale Garibova, Vice-Rector for International Relations at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), and Sabina Aliyeva, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Azerbaijani Linguistics at AUL.
