On September 23, the Baku Book Center hosted a highly anticipated event featuring the renowned Azerbaijani singer, composer, and Honored Artist of Azerbaijan, Miri Yusif. The event was held as part of the “Ulduzla Oxu” (“Reading with a Celebrity”) project. Dozens of fans, along with visually impaired children, attended the Baku Book Center to meet their favorite performer. During the event, Miri Yusif answered questions from the audience, shared his favorite books and authors, and engaged with attendees. Miri Yusif was born on October 27, 1977, in Baku. He first gained recognition as a hip-hop singer with Azerbaijan’s rock band “Dəyirman” before launching a successful solo career. As a solo artist, he has performed in a variety of styles, including ethnic jazz, reggae, chanson, and R&B.
