The Baku Book Center on Wednesday organized a webinar titled "AGILE: a methodology leading to success." The webinar was conducted by PASHA Bank's Corporate Communications Director Sona Abbasova as part of "YÜKSƏL" educational project, which is realized under the sponsorship of BP Azerbaijan.

How quickly can we adapt to the changes in our life and respond to the demands of our new, rapidly changing world? How can we achieve a goal without compromising the quality of the work we do? Where do we see ourselves in fifteen years, and how can we reach a peak? These and many other questions were highlighted by Sona Abbasova during the webinar.

Speaking about the essence of the Agile method, Sona Abbasova said that it has proven itself in marketing, management, banking and other industries that use intellectual work. The Agile method offers a light framework for assisting teams. It helps them function and maintain focus on rapid delivery and ensures that value is optimized throughout the development process.

Sona Abbasova emphasized that in recent years many organizations outside software development industry adopted this approach in their organizational activities. It can be also utilized in better planning of our lives, especially in achieving long-term aspirations and in reaching personal goals, according to the presenter.

The use of the Agile method allows to significantly speed up the process and to act quickly and efficiently for all participants. To speed up the implementation of the project, it is divided into several parts, and each must be completed within a certain time frame. This approach allows flexible management.

About 100 students from the Baku State University, Academy of Public Administration under the President of Azerbaijan, AUL, Khazar University, Odlar Yurdu University, ADA, Baku Slavic University, Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry, as well as representatives of the “Bir” student volunteer program of the Ministry of Education joined the webinar via the ZOOM platform. After the end of the quarantine regime participants will be donated books recommended by Sona Abbasova.
