The Baku Book Center on Nov. 4 presented a family-friendly show “Tales of opossum” by the Mexican theater “Arte Factum”. Mexican Embassy in Azerbaijan supported the demonstration of the performance at Baku Book Center.
Prior to the show, the Ambassador of Mexico in Azerbaijan, Mr. Rodrigo Labardini, introduced the actors to the audience and thanked the Baku Book Centyer for the opportunity to acquaint the young Azerbaijani audience with Mexican culture.
Based on the Mexican folk tale, “Tales of opossum” tells the story of opossum and coyote.
Children loved hearing Mexican tale and tunes and seeing an unusual, spectacular performance.
At the end of the event, the Ambassador of Mexico left warm messages at the Guest Book of the Baku Book Center.

On September 20, the Baku Book Center hosted the launch ceremony for "A Grammar of Contemporary Azerbaijani," authored by Zhale Garibova, Vice-Rector for International Relations at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), and Sabina Aliyeva, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Azerbaijani Linguistics at AUL.
