The Baku Book Center on Nov. 18 hosted a long-awaited event with the participation of famous Azerbaijani TV presenter and showman, People’s Artist of Azerbaijan Murad Dadashev. The event was organized as part of the "Ulduzla oxu" ("Reading with celebrity") Project of the Baku Book Center.
The event was attended by children living in orphanage of the SOS Children’s Villages – Azerbaijan international charitable organization and students from a number of Baku schools.
Murad Dadashev read excerpts from selected works of Azerbaijani literature for the children. At the end of the event, young guests of the Baku Book Center were presented with gifts.

On September 20, the Baku Book Center hosted the launch ceremony for "A Grammar of Contemporary Azerbaijani," authored by Zhale Garibova, Vice-Rector for International Relations at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), and Sabina Aliyeva, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Azerbaijani Linguistics at AUL.
