The Baku Book Center on November 30 hosted the presentation of the book “Firangiz Alizade. Our renowned composer." The book is dedicated to the chairman of the Union of Composers of Azerbaijan, UNESCO Artist for Peace, corresponding member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, "Shokhrat" and "Sharaf” orders holder composer Firangiz Alizade.
 
The author of the book is Honored Artist of Azerbaijan, Professor Hajar Babaeva.
 
Opening the event, the Director of the Baku Book Center Gunel Rzayeva said that the book reflects the last 10 years of the activity and social life of Professor Firangiz Alizade.
 
The author of the book, Hajar Babaeva, in her speech said that the works of Firanfiz Alizade are loved by thousands of listeners around the world.
 
Head of the Writers' Union, People’s Writer Anar, Professor Jamilya Hasanova, Professor at the National Conservatory, Honored Artist, Professor Akif Guliyev, Honored Artist, Academician Zemfira Safarova and others spoke about the outstanding achievements of the composer. 
At the end of the evening, the talented violinist, laureate of international competitions, Jeyla Seidova, performed “Impulse” by Firangiz Alizade to the accompaniment of the pianist, laureate of international competitions Saida Tagizade.
 
The book, reflecting important periods in the life and work of Firangiz Alizade, is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the composer. In the book famous musicians speak about Firangiz Alizadeh, and various events, international conferences and competitions with the participation of the composer. The book also highlights photos from the personal archive of the composer, information about world premieres, concerts, festivals as well as creative and social activities of Firangiz Alizade.
