Baku Book Center hosts webinar on living abroad experience as part of “YÜKSƏL” project


Founder and president of the Azerbaijani Women Association of Great Britain (AWA UK) Ulviyya Taghizadeh on August 12 conducted a webinar entitled “What is a diplomatic way of life? Long-term experience of living abroad”.
 
The webinar was organized as part of the Baku Book Center’s “YÜKSƏL” project supported by BP.
 
Sharing her many years of life experience outside Azerbaijan, Ulviyya Taghizadeh spoke about the main challenges for spouses accompanying the diplomats.
 
The webinar also covered issues related to the organization of ties between Azerbaijanis living abroad, their involvement in the protection of national identity and upholding of common interests. Ulviyya Taghizadeh also spoke about the activities of the Azerbaijani Women Association of Great Britain, which was founded in 2017 with the aim of creating communication between Azerbaijani women living in the UK.
 
About 60 students from the “Khazar” University, Azerbaijan University of Languages, ADA, Baku Engineering University, as well as the representatives of student volunteer program "Bir" of the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan joined the webinar. Participants can get books recommended by Ulviyya Taghizadeh at the Baku Book Center.
