A new book (poetry collection) “The superiority of the irrational” by the young poet Irana Gasymova was unveiled at the Baku Book Center on Jan. 22. 
 
At the evening, Irana Gasimova read her selected poems. Her poems were also performed by talented actors Zaur Shafiev and Rumiyya Agayeva.
 
Pianist Nargiz Aliyeva and the singer and flutist Oya Ergun peorformed pieces from world classical music. At the end of the event, Irana Gasymova signed her books for readers.

On September 20, the Baku Book Center hosted the launch ceremony for "A Grammar of Contemporary Azerbaijani," authored by Zhale Garibova, Vice-Rector for International Relations at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), and Sabina Aliyeva, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Azerbaijani Linguistics at AUL.
