Baku Book Center announces results of essay competition


The Baku Book Center on June 5 announced winners of the essay competition on the topic “Life after the Coronavirus”. 
 
The competition started on April 7, 2020, at the initiative of the first Ombudsman of Azerbaijan, Professor Elmira Suleymanova. In the essay, the authors (18+) were asked to share their vision of the scientific, political, humanitarian, social, economic, psychological and other consequences of the disease.
 
The jury included writer, secretary of the Azerbaijan Writers' Union Ilgar Fahmi; poet, translator Salim Babullaoglu; writer, public figure, doctor of philological sciences Tofig Malikli and Professor Elmira Suleymanova.
 
The jury reviewed 82 essays (47 in Azerbaijani and 35 in Russian) and determined the best.
