Presentation of the book “Swings over the Caspian” by Russian writer and journalist Maria Suvorovskaya was held at the Baku Book Center on May 6.
Welcoming the guests, Maria Suvorovskaya spoke about the idea of novel, her love for Baku and future plans. The author thanked the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, “Rossotrudnichestvo”, the Embassy of Russian Federation in Azerbaijan, and the Baku Book Center for support in organizing the event.
Chairman of the State Committee on Family, Women and Children Hijran Huseynova, actor and director Alexander Gadzhievsky, lead singer of “Sharon” group Rustam Zeynalli congratulated the author and wished her success.
The presentation also featured presentation of the music video for the song “Never get enough of Baku” (lyrics by M. Suvorovskaya, music by Lesya Yaroslavskaya, arrangement by Rustam Zeynalli). The evening continued with an autograph session of M. Suvorovskaya and a concert.
