The Baku Book Center on May 17 hosted a meeting with famous Azerbaijani film actor, the winner of the “Shohrat” award Rasim Balayev.
Many fans of the actor as well as representatives of creative and intellectual circles of the society came to the meeting which was held in a very warm atmosphere, full of humor and emotion. Rasim Balayev answered questions about his profession, about modern national cinema, his favorite roles and read Nasimi’s gazelles.
Rasim Balaev played his first role in the movie “The Stars Do Not Go Out.” Vivid images created by him in about sixty films, such as “Nasimi”, “Babek”, “Dada Gorgud”, “Javid's Life” and others, made a significant contribution to the national Azerbaijani cinema.
