The Baku Book Center on June 1 joined a traditional Children's Festival, organized in the park of the Heydar Aliyev Center and dedicated to the International Children's Day.
The territory of the park was divided into various thematic and entertainment areas. A variety of children's book was presented to the attention of the children at the Baku Book Center site. During the hours of the Festival employees of the Center and children read tales and poems of various authors.
Participants of the “Children Creators” Project of YARADAN Creative Association were present at Baku Book Center’s area with an interesting performance. The Baku Book Center’s stand attracted much attention of the visitors. At the end of the event, on behalf of the Center, children were presented with more than 1,000 copies of “OYAN” magazine.

On September 20, the Baku Book Center hosted the launch ceremony for "A Grammar of Contemporary Azerbaijani," authored by Zhale Garibova, Vice-Rector for International Relations at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), and Sabina Aliyeva, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Azerbaijani Linguistics at AUL.
