An evening called “Mikhail Bulgakov: Ciphers of Fate and Creativity” was held at the Baku Book Center on June 15. At the event the Ukrainian philologist, author of more than 40 TV programs Galina Annenkova-Kryukova made an interesting lecture about the difficult fate of the Russian writer born in Kiev, the author of such books as “Dog's Heart”, “White Guard”, “Fatal eggs”, as well as the world-famous novel “The Master and Margarita”. Bulgakov is one of the most famous Russian writers of the twentieth century. His life is still shrouded in mystery. “The Master and Margarita” is the most important work of the writer, which he dedicated to his last wife Elena Bulgakova. For the first time the novel was published only in 1967, some 27 years after his death. An interesting lecture by Galina Annenkova-Kryukova about Bulgakov lasted two hours and aroused great interest of the audience.
