Azerbaijani female poet Shahrun Suleymanly on June 18 presented her poetic collection “Keçmişdə gəzinti” (“Walk in the past”) at the Baku Book Center. The author read her own poems written in different years, as well as translations of poems by other poets. Honored journalist Yusif Rzayev, poets Aydan Handan, Narmina Mammadzade and others spoke at the event, which also featured video fragments from the performances “Nasimi” and “Black Snowdrops” translated by Shahrun Suleymanly. Honored Artist Ilham Nazarov, musicians Gamar Mammadova, Vusal Aydamirov and others performed at the musical part of the evening.
