Music & poetry event was held at the Baku Book Center on Nov. 18 as part of the “Year of Nasimi”. The event featured famous Nasimi gazelle “Sığmazam” in the performance by Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Ferghana Gasimova.
The host of the evening, TV journalist Lala Aliyeva, doctor of philological sciences Firudin Gurbansoy, poet and writer Ilgar Fahmi, the national artist of Azerbaijan Abdul Makhmudov and others spoke about the rich literary heritage of Imadeddin Nasimi.
The musical part of the evening was continued by the performance of the national khanende Alim Gasimov and Fergana Gasimova, accompanied by the instrumental ensemble. Musicians performed mugam on Nasimi's gazelle.

A documentary "Azerbaijani Erivan" was shown at the Baku Book Center on April 19. The event was organized with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The film was created as part of the Fortis Films project by Fortis Construction company.
