Famous poet and writer Ilgar Fahmi on December 18 read a lecture at the Baku Book Center on the theme “Modern plot constructions” as part of the new project “YÜKSƏL”.  Speaking to students of the Baku State University and Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, Ilgar Fahmi said that the main idea of literary work includes the overall message of the text that a writer intends to convey to the audience.
 
Almost all genres of literature have one or two main ideas, however, the main idea develops and grows throughout the text. The speaker underlined that the idea of the book is inseparable from its content, and the behavior of the main characters should correspond to it.
 
Ilgar Fahmi also stressed the importance of composition in revealing the content of a work: "In world literature, you can find many works similar in content, but each author builds a composition in his own way," the writer said. The lecture ended with an interesting discussion, on behalf of the Baku Book Center students were presented with books recommended by the speaker.
