Baku Book Center Hosts Charity Event in Celebration of Novruz Spring Holiday

On March 13, the Baku Book Center hosted a charity event organized by the Baku City Children and Youth Development Center #2 to mark the upcoming Novruz holiday. The event welcomed young guests from Boarding School No. 10. The program featured an exhibition of drawings depicting Novruz traditions, a guided tour, a reading hour and a crafts club for the children. During the event, young actors from the Development Center brought to life characters from fairy tales - such as Spring girl, Kechal (Baldheaded), Kosa (Unbearded), Tig-Tig Khanum (a bug), and Sichan Bey (a mouse). They also performed Azerbaijani dances, along with dances from various cultures around the world, providing the audience with an unforgettable experience. At the end of the event, the children received gifts, including sweets from the Baku Book Center and the Children and Youth Development Center #2, as well as books from Everest Publishing House. Volunteers from the Public Association “Regional Development” also took part in the event.
