The Baku Book Center on November 28 hosted the launch of Monologues of Dilara, a book written by screenwriter and producer Fariz Aliyev. The work draws largely from the stand-up performances featured in the television program ‘Söhbət Var’, hosted by TV presenter and actress Dilara Aliyeva.
The book delves into a wide range of topics, including sketches about notable figures in culture and art. It also presents the views and reflections of famous personalities from Azerbaijan’s arts scene, including those who are no longer with us.
At the launch event, a number of prominent Azerbaijani cultural figures were in attendance, including Zamig Aliyev, Eyyub Yagubov, Mehriban Zyaki, Nyazkat Teymurova, Tunzala Agayeva, poet Sevinj Chilgin, journalist and TV presenter Islam Gadirli, among others. These guests shared their thoughts and impressions on Dilara Aliyeva's contributions to Azerbaijani culture.
The event concluded with Dilara Aliyeva signing copies of her book for attendees.
