The Baku Book Сenter on May 2 hosted the presentation of “Azim Azimzade” art book published by National Art Museum of Azerbaijan. The book covers paintings by outstanding Azerbaijani artist, founder of Azerbaijani satirical graphics Azim Azimzade. The book features paintings covering all periods of Azimzade's life, his activities in periodicals, theater, as well as a large number of previously unpublished works. The editor and author of the book is Professor of the Azerbaijan State Academy of Arts Chingiz Farzaliyev.
Welcoming the guests, Director of the Baku Book Center Gunel Rzayeva thanked everyone who made contribution into the book. National writer Anar, national artists Omar Eldarov, Farhad Khalilov, Director of the Institute of Architecture and Art of ANAS Ertegin Salamzade, Director of the National Art Gallery of Uzbekistan Kamola Akilova, Director of the Nizami Ganjavi National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature Rafael Huseynov, Director of the National Art Museum of Azerbaijan Shirin Melikova and other speakers talked about the great role of Azim Azimzade in the development of Azerbaijani fine arts, his love for his country and people. The speakers emphasized  that Azim Azimzade has created a rich gallery of people of his time. The event ended with performances by outstanding national musicians Siyavush Kerimi,  Anar Shushali and Emil Afrasiyab.
