The Baku Book Center on April 15 hosted a launch of the State Examination Center’s edition “Azerbaijani language proficiency levels requirements” for the Azerbaijani language certification exam. Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva, Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, Chairman of the State Examination Center (SEC) Maleyka Abbaszadeh, members of the public attended the event. Speaking about the project, Maleyka Abbaszadeh emphasized the importance of the Azerbaijani language certification exam to determine the level of language proficiency. Co-author of the training program and testing model Sabina Aliyeva, SEC representative Mehriban Jafarsoy, editor of the program Zhalya Garibova spoke about the importance of the manual. Rector of the Azerbaijan University of Languages, academician, writer Kamal Abdulla, MP of the Milli Majlis, academician Nizami Jafarov, director of the Monitoring center under the State Language Commission Sevinj Aliyeva said that this book serves to popularize the Azerbaijani language. The authors of the methodological manual are: Sabina Aliyeva, Khuzura Agayeva, Ramiga Shiralieva and Fidan Aleskerova (Azerbaijan University of Languages).
