The Baku Book Center on December 22 hosted the book launch event for famous Russian writer Albert Likhanov’s “Indelible” book dedicated to the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev. The book is about the role of Heydar Aliyev, who served as First Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the USSR, in the establishment of the Soviet Children's Fund.
Director of the Baku Book Center Gunel Rzayeva welcomed the guests of the event hosted by Rufat Nazarov. Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Children's Fund Arif Huseynov and co-chair Zahra Badalbeyli informed the guests about the activities of the Azerbaijan Children's Fund. Chairman of the Board of the KOBSKA Nigar Alasgarova said that the organization is always ready to support ideas related to the development and well-being of children. National writer Chingiz Abdullaev and the head of the Russian Children's Fund Dmitry Likhanov shared warm memories of Albert Likhanov and expressed gratitude to everyone who helped in publishing the book.Talented musicians Nurai Shakhsuvarly, Rilaya, Anar Seyidov, Elbey Mammadzade and Narmin Ismailova performed works by Azerbaijani composers.
