A meeting with the Head of the Writers’ union of Azerbaijan, national writer Anar was organized October 30 at the Baku Book Center by Public Association “İRƏLİ” and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Writer-publicist Nadir Yalcin moderated the meeting which was held as part of “MədəniyyətimİZ” project, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of national leader Heydar Aliyev. During the meeting, Anar shared his memories of national leader Heydar Aliyev, the development of Azerbaijani literature, modern trends in the field of literature, and answered questions from the guests. Laureates of local and international competitions - pianist Vusal Aidemirov and vocalist Agshin Khudaverdiev performed as part of the event. The coordinator of the “MədəniyyətimİZ” project is Riad Jabrailov.
