The Baku Book Center on June 28 hosted a poetry evening dedicated to the Russian poet and novellist Boris Pasternak.The event was held as part of the "Classics of poetry with Irana Gasimova" project. Famous poems by Pasternak were read by Leyli Salaeva, Gasim Khalilov, Nigar Babaeva, Saida Subkhi, Lala Hasanova, Zarema Manafova, Dmitry Babintsev and other project participants.

On September 20, the Baku Book Center hosted the launch ceremony for "A Grammar of Contemporary Azerbaijani," authored by Zhale Garibova, Vice-Rector for International Relations at Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), and Sabina Aliyeva, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Azerbaijani Linguistics at AUL.
