The Baku Book Center on June 14 hosted the presentation of the book "Murad", dedicated to the fallen hero of the Patriotic War (the 44-day Karabakh war), tank commander, lieutenant Murad Nagiyev. The event was held with the organizational support of the F. Kocharli Children's Library.
Prior to the event, the memory of the fallen heroes of the Karabakh war was honored with a minute of silence. Book editor Ibrahim Ilyasli, deputy director of secondary school No. 271 Rukhsara Alizade, Murad's comrade, senior lieutenant Namig Safarov, famous actor and playwright Kamran Agabalaev, director of the F. Kocharli Children's Library Shahla Gambarova, director of the Baku Book Center Gunel Rzayeva, members of Murad Nagiyev’s family shared their impressions of the book. The event also featured musical performances by students of the Aghdam mugham school.

A documentary "Azerbaijani Erivan" was shown at the Baku Book Center on April 19. The event was organized with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The film was created as part of the Fortis Films project by Fortis Construction company.
