Presentation of the culinary book titled “Dolma in Azerbaijani cuisine. 381 recipes” was held at the Baku Book Center on February 6. The book was published in 2018 by the publishing house “Sharg-Garb” as a tribute to the Vice President of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva. Speaking at the ceremony, the author of the book, director of the National Culinary Center Tahir Amiraslanov said that the book contains recipes for 381 types of dolma, the most delicious and unique Azerbaijani dish, that were presented at the International dolma festivals in Azerbaijan in 2016 and 2017. He also thanked the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Baku Book Center for assistance in organizing the event.
Chairman of the State Agency for Tourism Fuad Nagiyev, members of the Milli Mejlis Ganira Pashayeva and Ulviya Agayeva and others noted that the book will contribute to the preservation and promotion of Azerbaijani cuisine.
At the end of the event, Tahir Amiraslanov signed books for guests. The book will be soon translated into foreign languages and published in Russia.
