Baku Book Center on Feb. 12 hosted a music and poetry evening dedicated to Love. The event featured poems by Nazym Hikmet, Michael Mushfig, Rasul Rza, Ramiz Rovshan, Vagif Samadoglu and other poets performed by the graduate of the University of Culture and Art, actor Safa Mehdi. Laureates of international competitions - a graduate of the Baku Musical Academy named after Uzeir Hajibeyli, pianist Vusal Aydamirov and a student at the National Conservatory, tar player Ibrahim Babayev performed Azerbaijani folk melodies, famous and beloved songs by Fikret Amirov, Tofig Guliyev, Francis Leah, and also jazz composition of Vagif Mustafazade "Bayati Shiraz".
