A literary evening dedicated to the memory of Heydar Aliyev, the founder of modern independent Azerbaijan, was held at the Baku Book Center on May 10.
At the evening participants of the “Children creators” project of YARADAN creative association showed an interactive mini-performance dedicated to the memory of Heydar Aliyev and read quotes from speeches of the national leader.
One of Heydar Aliyev’s favorite Azerbaijani songs and “Azerbaijan” poem by Samed Vurgun were sounded at the event.
The children also read one of the poems by Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva, which she dedicated to her grandfather.
The event included an exposition of works by the artist Aygun Nagiyeva, dedicated to the great leader.
